The 22 of September of 1954 as it appears in the books of the Municipality of Acatenango, Guatemala; Mr. Clemente Lantan and Mrs. Ángela Vela Morales de Lantan acquired the coffee farm called Chuatacaj which is now known as the General Property. Later on in 2001 they inherited the Lady Verónica Lantan Vela de Acajabon, who next inherited in the third generation to its son Sergio Jose Acajabon Lantan said coffee producing estate.
The farm is located on the way to the Acatenango Volcano, altitude 1700 ~ 1850 masl, since its beginnings it has been used in coffee cultivation, since 1954 to date in the process of continuous improvement has been renewed by sectors, implemented Coffee varieties such as: Caturra, Catuaí, typical among others, and complemented with shade of gravilèa, fruit trees of loquat and peach tree in order to facilitate the flowering of coffee, as well as native plants such as Pericón , Oregano and Chile, to function as natural repellents and thereby maintain the health of the fruit in an organic way.
